How Blessed We Are

Flag With Text

It’s always good to remember the liberty our country was founded on and the sacrifices so many made for us to live in such freedom and comfort today.  Happy 241st Independence Day America!

Happy 4th of July to you and everyone! A great day!

Ever wonder if the British Royals think of this day as a day of mourning? Just saying.

Thanks for the salutations, Tricia and back at ya. That’s a masterful quote. Leave it to a Texan to reduce the liberal mantra to ashes in so few words.

  6. A day we’re blessed with as a result of countless lives that were sacrificed for this noble profound concept of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Yes, I imagine the survivors of all the Native Americans that were slaughtered in possibly the greatest genocide in human history, and the descendants of the negro slaves must just Jump for Joy every 4th of July, right?

You are so predictable that it’s become boring to read your comments. Yes, the U.S. has had its share of atrocities and wrong headedness, just like every other civilization since the beginning of history..

And yet, Ark, everyone seems to come here! No one wants to leave. Wonder why that is. 🙂 America has been imperfect, but it’s the best that’s ever been.

Something more difficult for you to hear is the following obvious truth: the best thing that ever happened to the descendants of the negro slaves, as you refer to them, was that their ancestors were sold to slavers who brought them here to America. No, it wasn’t the best thing to happen to the ones who became slaves, but there’s no debate possible that it was the best thing to happen to their descendants.

So, yes, everyone who gets to call America home should “jump for joy,” as you so aptly put it, every 4th of July. 🙂

      Best,
