About This Blog
Howdy and thanks for stopping by! I'm weirdly obsessed with individual liberty and feel it's not given enough credit as being a necessary factor for living a truly empowered and fulfilled life.
Whether it's self serving politicians who are constantly trying to make victims out of us, or the negative fixed narratives we impose on ourselves that limit what we can do, we are constantly giving up personal power over to some person or thing which ironically only shrinks our world further.
This blog is about sticking up for freedom and hopefully opening up a deeper conversation on what it's meaning is, how it enhances our own empowerment and why it's so important to protect.

Romancing the Dictator
Is it too much to ask that the so called enlightened leaders of the western world speak the truth about oppressive dictators? That they NOT romanticize these murderous, power hungry slugs by absurdly insinuating their intentions were good and by … Continue reading
Bring to a Gentle Boil
Life can be funny in that sometimes it takes a storm or two to bring out hidden parts of ourselves we didn’t even know existed. Being a slow learner, it usually takes several more than two for me, but the point … Continue reading
Thoughts on Jerusalem
Jerusalem is an intense place. Its people, history and the blending of cultures as different as night and day brings about a palpable energy that leaves you both charged and exhausted. It’s also more than a little overwhelming to realize … Continue reading
Election Day in America

“The Impossibility of Empathy” — See, there’s this thing called biology…
Really good post by Insanity Bytes that expounds on another post from blogger Becky on the complexities of empathy and the good and bad it brings with it. Give both a read, well worth it. via “The Impossibility of Empathy” … Continue reading
