Have I told you before how strange my cat is? This is him pretending to be a dog baying at the moon. He does things like this during his off time from plotting to kill me.
Maybe it’s cuz I named him Kitty….

Howdy and thanks for stopping by! I'm weirdly obsessed with individual liberty and feel it's not given enough credit as being a necessary factor for living a truly empowered and fulfilled life.
Whether it's self serving politicians who are constantly trying to make victims out of us, or the negative fixed narratives we impose on ourselves that limit what we can do, we are constantly giving up personal power over to some person or thing which ironically only shrinks our world further.
This blog is about sticking up for freedom and hopefully opening up a deeper conversation on what it's meaning is, how it enhances our own empowerment and why it's so important to protect.

Too funny! My beagles eyes widened as I read allowed the story about your cat baying at the moon. Not sure he’s comfortable with a feline assuming HIS JOB! What a great picture.

Ha ha ha Jonathan! Well tell Mr. Beagle not to fear as Kitty really has a lot of work to do in the baying department and won’t be replacing him any time soon. 😉

Great picture Tricia. Poor Kitty the kitty, though. What your parents had named you “Girl?” Sheesh LOL.

LOL Wally! Yeah he probably doesn’t appreciate the name much. He was a stray hanging out in my yard who I had no intentions of keeping so never properly named him. Then one day I let him inside and the next thing I know he’s sleeping on my bed and eating me out of the house.

Maybe he’s signaling a hitman. I’d sleep with one eye open tonight.

Thanks Julie! I got lucky with that snap shop, was able to take it at just the right moment.

But if you look real close trish……………….you may see the cat’s ear as a dogs snout……..and the cats mouth would be the dogs ear…..looking to the right! May take some extra effort to see that strange dog…..(if its hard to see, just look at the negative space to the right of the body)
but still, great pic.
There’s always one person to throw a wrench in the monkey, or is it a monkey in the wrench…. 😉

I think it’s more like monkeying around CS…;) I do see exactly what you’re saying though! In fact after I took the picture that’s what I saw too and had to remind myself it was not a dog but my cat who apparently has taken on shape shifting powers.
It’s always nice to have that person with a wrench around to keep things interesting. 😉

My interpretation is that Kitty is looking to the God of all cats and asking “why me god, why did I get attached to this two legged human that calls me by such a demeaning name?” A male cat should NOT be called Kitty! From the look of his picture maybe “Porky” would be a better name!
Are you sure it’s a male? Hard to tell sometimes.
At least he’s well fed and has a cozy place to sleep no matter what moniker he goes by.
Get armed and get trained!

LOL DENNIS! Yeah, he’s quite the porkster alright, maybe I should have named him Piggy…

I had a dog named Kitty once, he wasn’t crazy about it either.

I wonder if it has something to do with the Christmas tree lights on your cat’s tree.

Love the photograph! None of my kitties bay at the moon, but I do have a couple who like to retrieve.
Also, Kitty is a perfectly good name for a cat of any gender.

He doesn’t really bay so much as give off his little mewing sounds/chirps. It’s really bizarre actually. That’s cool you have retrieving cats! I will tell Kitty you think his name is just fine. 😉

My cat thinks he’s a dog. He plays fetch and runs to the door to greet visitors.

Your cat sounds awesome! Mine runs away from visitors and wouldn’t dream fetching anything for me.
