I have Nothing To Say….

flow

All week I’ve been feeling the pull to do an end of year “ta da!” post.  I’d share poignant life lessons learned in 2014, along with amazing Oprah Winfrey like insight for “living your best life” in 2015, all wrapped up in a tidy bow of hope, optimism and joy.  Then I tried to write something and I couldn’t come up with a thing.  I mean nothing, nada, the big zero of ideas and all the creativity of a doorknob.

So, I turned to my WordPress feed for inspiration and it was of course filled with fantastic year end posts and I quickly realized I had nothing to add.  Two particular ones that stood out for me were this from the Holistic Wayfayer and this from At The Foot of the Sierras.

Life is all about renewal. Whether it’s a year gone by or a season that’s past, each ending brings a new beginning and a chance to recalibrate. Enhance what’s working, fix what’s not, fill up on hope; this is our continual condition and it’s available each moment of every day.

As the first day of 2015 draws to a close, I can’t say I feel any different really than the yesterday of 2014.  But yet, I somehow do and that’s a good thing.

Happy New Year!

Thank you very much for the mention in your post! It sounds like you did have some wisdom of your own to add after all. 🙂 I really like the thought of recalibration–you’re not quite starting over, but you’re gearing up for what is to come.

  2. Sweet and kind of you, T. Somehow I missed the pingback. Blogging is more than writing or producing. Much of it is listening, connecting, and giving. I’m glad my post spoke to you and wish you a wonderful year on and off the blog.
